Thank you for writing this. It was a delicious read.
If you struggle with Canberra in winter then donโt consider living in the UK. We are now entering a period of 5 to 6 months of dark nights, wet/windy and cold weather.
Thanks Heather. I must say I do prefer the gloom and darkness that the UK seems to promise almost incessantly. I am known to have reverse SAD with the sun and blue skies. I enjoy the rain and dark clouds. Perfect for melancholic music and writing (imo). I have heard from my friends in the UK constantly complaining about the weather and their desire to escape to countries with more sunlight. Perhaps it is grass being greener.
I loved reading this. Brought back those memories of your late nights and the pack in the fridge that you leave for your younger brother. I feel sad and proud at the same time. Sad that you have had to go through those late night walks and proud to see the person you have become. Stay blessed.
You write, therefore you are a writer and let no one tell you otherwise including your own self-doubt. You write brilliantly and so does your brother and I enjoy reading what both of you write. So keep your chin up and feel proud that you are using your talent and your skills to bring sunshine in this cold dark world.
I love this contemplation on being a writer. Thank you!
Thank you. Am glad it resonated ๐๐พ
